PERAN ORIENTASI KEWIRAUSAHAAN DAN SUMBER DAYA PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP KEUNGGULAN BERSAING PADA UMKM MEKARSARI KANDRI SEMARANG

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Small and medium entreprises (SMEs) are seen as entities that are able to survive in high business competition. Regions with groups of SMEs that are growing are increasingly being improved, one of them namely the Mekarsari Kandri at Semarang Central Java. Kandri village with all its uniqueness needs to improve its competitive advantage with other tourist villages, one of which is by improving the competitiveness through implementation of entrepreneurial orientation and maximizing the potential of internal resources. The purpose of this study was to find out and explain: (1) the level of entrepreneurial orientation, company resources and competitive advantage in Mekarsari Kandri UMKM Semarang: (2) the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on competitive advantage: (3) the influence of company resources on competitive advantage : (4) the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and company resources simultaneously on competitive advantage. The explanatory research was used to test the relationship between competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation and company resources. The population used in this study were 44 Mekarsari Kandri SME owners and the sampling technique used was the census method, in which all samples were 44 people. The analysis technique used is quantitative analysis with SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science). The results of the study show that there are positive and significant effects both partially and simultaneously between entrepreneurial orientation and company resources on competitive advantage.

ABSTRAK

Usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) dipandang sebagai entitas yang mampu bertahan dalam persaingan bisnis yang tinggi. Daerah dengan kelompok UKM yang sedang tumbuh semakin ditingkatkan, salah satunya yaitu Mekarsari Kandri di Semarang Jawa Tengah. Desa Kandri dengan segala keunikannya perlu meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitifnya dengan desa wisata lainnya, salah satunya adalah dengan meningkatkan daya saing melalui penerapan orientasi kewirausahaan dan memaksimalkan potensi sumber daya internal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan: (1) besarnya tingkat orientasi kewirausahaan, sumber daya perusahaan dan keunggulan bersaing pada UMKM Mekarsari Kandri Semarang: (2) pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing: (3) pengaruh sumber daya perusahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing: (4) pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan dan sumber daya perusahaan secara simultan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research yang memiliki tujuan untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel-variabel yang diteliti yaitu keunggulan bersaing, orientasi kewirausahaan dan sumber daya perusahaan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 44 pemilik UMKM Mekarsari Kandri dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sensus yaitu seluruh sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik parsial maupun simultan antara orientasi kewirausahaan dan sumber daya perusahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing.
