Wu dialects have close links with Hokkien dialects from a historical perspective. The comparison between Wu and Hokkien dialects’ pronunciation and vocabulary shows the original relation. Additionally, due to the same distribution location in China’s southeast coast, Wu dialects and Hokkien dialects have a great common in vocabulary and pronunciation. This research focuses on analyzing the pronunciation and vocabulary which Wu and Hokkien dialects have in common. From the aspect of pronunciation, mainly embodied in the “Qun mu” characters have one, two, and four; "the ancient tongue tone" and "ancient light labial"; all muddy initials of scrap and individual points of phonetic feature reflect the intercommunity of Wu and Hokkien dialects. In terms of vocabulary, because of that Wu and Hokkien dialects have many differences and similarities, this article only uses the words with same meaning as example, such as “cheek called face”, “egg called spawn”, “young generation called epigenetic inferiors”, etc.
