Abstract


Chinese is one of the foreign languages that are difficult to study. In addition because of the pronunciation, tone and lettering, grammar is one of the difficulties for students. The auxiliary words in Chinese grammar is one that is difficult to master in learning Chinese. In this study would be limited an auxiliary to be reviewed, that is a three auxiliary “de” (的,得, and 地). In chinese a three auxiliary “de” have an important role and has a different function. Although in terms of writing a Han character is very different, but the use of three auxiliary words still make students confused in using them. Hence the writer is interested in doing research to find out the extent to which the level of student mastery three auxiliary “de” (的,得, and地) of the 2009-2012 Chinese Language and Culture Department in Bunda Mulia University, and also see how the teaching method undertaken by teachers. Data collection was done through tests, observations (student exercise), libraries research and experimental research.
