慈育大学中文系一至四年级学生综合课预习情况研究 (STUDY ON THE COMPREHENSIVE COURSES PREPARATION FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1 TO 4 OF THE CHINESE DEPARTMENT OF BUNDA MULIA UNIVERSITY)

Abstract


This study is mainly to understand the comprehensive class preparations (preview) done by the first to fourth grade students of the Chinese Department of the Bunda Mulia University, to understand their methods and effects, and to find out the factors that affect their preparation. Hope through this research we can clearly understand the students' comprehensive class preparations and find out the factors that affect their preparation and find solutions. This research used questionnaire to collect data. The results obtained from the analysis of the data are as follows: students have a certain understanding of the importance of the comprehensive class preparation, but they are not active; students think that the preparation can make it easier for them to understand the lessons taught by the teachers, develop self-learning ability and independent thinking ability, improve their abilities; teachers often arrange preparation for students, but there are very few preparation guides; some students who do not like to do preparation before class will also do the preparation; the factors that affect students' preparation are: fatigue, too difficult or too complicated content, work, etc. Students must learn to divide the timing of study and other activities, and not allow other activities to affect the time students spend. Students also need guidance in the preparation, so we hope teachers may provide guide book for students as they'll be needing it for do the preparation before class.
